Description Cotton Candy is a gloriously frilly, unabashedly fizzy pink confection trimmed with sweet flowers and fluff! The designer, Taryn Christmas, offers two versions depending on your needs. For special occasions and unique photo sessions with your baby girl, you’ll want to make the “Full Fluff” version. This skirt is generously ruffled to spread out fully around a seated baby, making your little one look like a real, live bed doll. Because of the generous skirt size, this dress is somewhat more substantial than your baby might be used to wearing. If you wish to make a lighter, less full skirt, which still has plenty of sugar and spice charm but might be more suitable for playing or less formal occasions, we have added a “Lite” version. 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” pattern booklet Size Pattern is written for size 3 months (6 months, 12 months). Materials Cotton Candy dress and hat shown is made with a selection of pink baby yarns. Taryn chose one smooth yarn, one crinkly yarn, and one fuzzy eyelash yarn. Almost any baby yarn selections will work well for this dress, keeping gauge in mind and adjusting hook size as needed. Choose two baby yarns and one eyelash yarn for this dress. The two baby yarns can be two smooth yarns or one smooth and one textured. |
