About Our Patterns |
|
Gourmet Crochet patterns are available in printed form, and some are available in e-pattern form.
Printed Patterns Our professionally printed patterns are, for the most part, 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” digest-size booklets with color covers and black and white inside pages. When we first began, we had our patterns printed in the standard 8 1/2” x 11” pattern leaflet format. Along the way, we changed our minds on the idea of the large size being the ultimate wonderful *way*, and started doing all new patterns, and all reprints, in the smaller format. The smaller ones are just so cute, don’t you think? They tuck easily into a crochet bag, and seem to weather being hauled around better than the larger size patterns. We do still have some of our early patterns, ones we printed a bazillion of in the beginning, available in the larger format. As we use up our stock of these, we reformat and reprint in digest size. Each pattern on this site states the size. E-patterns Our e-patterns are delivered to you immediately after your PayPal payment is processed. We use PayLoadz for e-pattern delivery, and couldn’t be happier with their service.

How to Order If you are ordering printed patterns, you can order as many as you like at one time with the built-in PayPal shopping cart. If you are ordering e-patterns, you will need to order and pay for each one separately. Cumbersome, I know, but there shouldn’t be anything to fill out if you already have a PayPal account, so really it’s just some extra clicks. I apologize for the inconvenience. Trust me though, it’s the best way. There are some other ways I could set this up but there are many opportunities for snarls, and we have enough of those in life, don’t you agree? Ordering Printed Patterns If you want to buy one or more printed patterns, just use the “add to cart” button on the pattern’s individual page. The PayPal system will guide you through checking out, providing your shipping information, and adding shipping costs (which are cheap, I promise). International Orders If you’re ordering printed patterns from another country, just go ahead and place your order through PayPal, and if needed, I’ll send you an invoice for extra shipping. Of course with e-patterns, digital delivery is free to everywhere. Ordering E-Patterns Here is how this works. Click on the “buy it now” button indicated for an e-pattern. You will be directed through the PayPal payment process. Immediately thereafter, you will receive and e-mail containing a LINK and instructions for downloading the pattern. You will need the latest version of Adobe Reader, available as a free download, to view the pattern. Please note that this e-mail goes to the e-mail address you have associated with PayPal. If you don’t get the e-mail, check your Spam filters and then go into PayPal and check your e-mail address there. Once in a while I have a customer who never gets the email with the pattern link because it’s going to an old or seldom-used email address. We eventually get it sorted out, but honestly any time you have to get a human involved (me) it can take longer, especially if I’m AWOL from the computer for hours or even a couple of days. The most important thing to do if you don’t get your email with the pattern link is to e-mail me, preferably from the e-mail address where you want to receive your pattern. I’ll manually go into Payloadz and authorize another link e-mail for you. Be sure and include your name. As with any automated process, 99 out of 100 e-pattern transactions go as smooth as silk, with pattern delivered and ready for crocheting within minutes of purchase. But if yours is one of the ones that goes wonky in some way and you can’t solve the problem yourself with the email address/Spam filter check, just know that I will stay with you til we get it worked out. Just be sure to e-mail me if there is any kind of problem. |
