Easy Tunisian Ponchos Plus

Description

These Tunisian crocheted fashions were designed with versatility in mind. Each of the five designs can be worn at least two ways.

Airy Lavender Lace is my favorite crocheted garment ever! I’ve worn mine so many times to all kinds of occasions and it never fails to get tons of compliments. It can be worn as a laced-up poncho with the laced area worn to the front or to the side. Or, take the laces out and it can be worn as an elegant rectangular shawl. It’s made with Royale Luna Fashion Crochet or Aunt Lydia’s Shimmer Fashion—any fine sport-weight or baby-weight yarn may be used but this product’s rayon content really makes this garment drape and swing beautifully.

The Shell Stitch Poncho, made with Lion Brand Homespun, shows horizontal color gradations one way; turn it the other way and you’ll see dramatic vertical gradations with a scalloped pattern down the center front.

Celebrity Star-Stitch shawl can be worn with the point to the back as a traditional shawl, or to the side as shown over a plain dress for a stunning result. This shawl is the Tunisian interpretation of the star-stitch shawl made famous by Jessica Simpson.
