Description This fresh and pretty capelet design can be made with button closure at center front or all in rounds with no button closure. Collarlet is an abbreviated version that dresses up a neckline to change the look of dresses and tops year round. Garments shown are made with worsted-weight yarns; can be made with any yarn with appropriate hook size. Skill level: Intermediate. 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” pattern booklet Size XS-5X Materials Capelet: 8-12 oz. worsted-weight yarn depending on size. Collarlet: About 4 oz. Any yarn may be used; yarn amounts will vary depending on yarn chosen and size as well as variable length. Capelets shown were made with Lion Chenille #173 Sage. Collarlet shown was made with Caron Simply Soft Brites #9611 Rose Violet. Small amount contrasting yarn for rosebud, if desired. Rosebud shown was made with Lion Chenille #173 Sage One 3/8” pearl button or other button of similar size I hook or hook size appropriate to yarn choice |
